SP8 Questionnaire
1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
I love sock yarns... vesper, brooklyn handspun, scout's yarn,koigu...small batch handpaints are my favorite. I also want to try hemp/linen/bamboo yarns.NO ACRYLIC... I am a yarn snob. I also do not like novelty yarns.
2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?
I made the wrap case from stitch n bitch nation.....
3. How long have you been knitting? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?
I consider myself advanced and addicted! I learned to knit when I was six.
4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?
not a current one....
5. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)
Vanilla and citrus
6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin?8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)
chocolate, chocolate, and oh? CHOCOLATE! I love all kinds of music from elvis costello to the blackeyed peas to jack johnson to 10000 maniacs, to alexi murdoch to REM.....I can play MP3's in my car
9. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand?
I love the autumn palette....rusts browns greens oranges....
10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
I live with my husband and young son... I have a cat. I am not a cat person, though. I like her... but no pins/cat motifs.
11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?
All of the above!
12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?
socks,hats,mittens...baby stuff.
13. What are you knitting right now?
a clapotis and socks and odessa hat
14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts?
sure
15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?
I want some addis... and soe brittany DPN's

yes and yes. I also have a skeiners and various other beginning spinner tools.

my grandmother taught me

2yrs....maybe 2.5!

Halloween

I was gifted IK from my pal last round. I would love the Knitting Nature book

not really.... maybe entrelac?

Yup... I love socks! circumference: 9 length: 10.5 lower calf: 10.5 in inches

entrelac's actually really quite easy. i didn't realise it was supposed to be hard, so that's my learning project, and i gotta say, it's coming along swimmingly!
